About Vasundhara Raturi
Journey
Vasundhara Raturi is a versatile singer blessed with a golden and harmonious voice. She began her musical journey at the tender age of five when she gave her first stage performance in New York, rendering devotional bhajans during her stay there. Since then, her passion for music has blossomed into an accomplished career spanning classical, and light music genres.
Vasundhara received her early training from renowned gurus including Smt. Purnima Desai, Ustad Ashraf Ali Khan, and Sh. Vijaykumar Patil. She is currently continuing her training under Vid. Sanhita Nandi of the Kirana Gharana, deepening her understanding of Indian classical music while exploring diverse musical expressions.
Her talent was recognized early on when she participated in several national television singing reality shows including Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs, Ustaadon Ka Ustaad, and Chhota Packet Bada Dhamaka.
Over the years, Vasundhara has performed extensively across India and internationally in countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, the United States, Belgium, Luxemburg, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, and Japan. Her performances have been part of numerous cultural celebrations including events under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
She has had the privilege of receiving blessings and appreciation from legendary artists and dignitaries such as Lata Mangeshkar, Pt. Jasraj, Sonu Nigam, Suresh Wadkar, Alka Yagnik, Kavita Krishnamurthy, and filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She was also fortunate to receive blessings from the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi in 2016 and spiritual leader Sadhguru in 2022.
Vasundhara has recently recorded songs with Pawandeep Rajan, which have gained popularity in a short span of time. Several of her devotional bhajans have also been released by Sanskar TV and can be heard on all major platforms.
Beyond performing, Vasundhara has actively contributed to music education and cultural dialogue. She was a core member of the Music Archive and Listening Room at the Baithak Society of Indraprastha College for Women from 2018 to 2021 and has delivered lectures on themes related to Indian classical music since 2018. She has also served as a jury member for the Sabal Awards in 2021 and 2022 and represented India and University of Delhi in an international Disability Consortium held in Mexico in 2017.

Featured in a CBSE Class VII school textbook in 2009.
